Factory Controller – Financial Stewardship for Manufacturing

About the role

The Factory Controller partners directly with the Factory Manager and the leadership team to ensure robust financial stewardship across the Nestle Waters facility. This role provides fact‑based decision support for both short‑term objectives and long‑term strategic initiatives, delivering cost visibility, accurate forecasts, and compliance with financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, validate and track cost‑improvement opportunities and lead related projects.
• Manage factory reporting of actuals and forecasts, ensuring transparency, accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform strategic financial analysis for major decisions, including cost and non‑financial implications.
• Drive business planning, own the overall factory budget and act as liaison with Head Office.
• Ensure control and visibility of assets and liabilities, implement internal controls and oversee segregation of duties.
• Coordinate routine audit activities, manage compliance with NAS, Costing Standards, statutory accounting and tax guidelines.
• Provide training on financial key figures and costing for non‑specialists.
• Develop, evaluate and monitor capital investment plans, including post‑CAPEX reviews.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, NAS standards and costing standards.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and work closely with cross‑functional teams.
