Senior Project Manager – Regulatory Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a strategic international regulatory transformation focused on the EU AML Package. The role is remote within Spain, with optional hybrid work in Barcelona.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the regulatory program for implementing the EU AML Package across the Group.
• Consolidate gap assessments from business units and entities at Group level.
• Define the implementation framework and governance model.
• Develop and maintain the implementation roadmap aligned with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
• Coordinate with ongoing initiatives and related transformation programs to ensure consistency and synergies.
• Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders at Group and local entity level, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
• Monitor program progress, identify risks and dependencies, and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Support decision‑making by providing analysis, recommendations, and implementation plans.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience managing regulatory transformation programs in financial services.
• Strong background in AML / Anti‑Financial Crime programs and regulatory implementations.
• Hands‑on experience conducting gap assessments and defining implementation roadmaps.
• Knowledge of the EU AML Package and AMLR regulations.
• Experience in international, complex environments, preferably within insurance or financial services.
• Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Fluent English.
