Software Engineer – Go Backend (Barcelona)

About the role

LuxExperience is looking for a talented Software Engineer to join its Technology department in Barcelona. You will design, develop and optimise high‑quality Go‑based backend systems that power our luxury e‑commerce platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, design and implement backend services that solve complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with QA to build, test and deploy new features reliably.
• Continuously refactor and optimise the codebase for maintainability and performance.
• Enhance the stability, performance and usability of live e‑commerce systems.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high coding standards.
• Document applications and solutions to facilitate knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of professional experience developing with Golang.
• Familiarity with large‑scale e‑commerce systems and best‑practice domain knowledge.
• Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset.
