Android Engineer – Mobile Banking (Barcelona)

About the role

Monzo is looking for a product‑focused Android Engineer to help evolve its native mobile banking app. Based in Barcelona, you will join a small, autonomous squad that builds features used daily by over 11 million customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement polished, user‑centric experiences for the Android app.
• Write well‑tested, resilient code while maintaining a fast iteration pace.
• Collaborate with iOS engineers, backend developers, designers, product managers, QA testers, and data scientists.
• Contribute to the overall product vision rather than isolated features.
• Participate in the mobile platform squad to improve tooling for fellow engineers.
