Audit Manager – Contract Assurance Reviews

About the role

Sanofi is seeking an Audit Manager to lead contract assurance reviews within its Global Procurement Services. Based in Barcelona, the role supports the company’s transformation agenda by ensuring supplier contracts are executed as intended and that value is realized.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute supplier audits focused on contract compliance, performance and financial integrity.
• Analyse supplier and internal documentation to identify risks, discrepancies and missed value.
• Prepare clear audit findings, quantify financial and operational impacts and engage stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Lead selected audit assignments, managing scope, timelines and communications with Procurement, Legal, Finance and Business Units.
• Track corrective‑action implementation and follow‑up on outcomes.
• Contribute to risk‑based supplier targeting using spend data, contract content and performance indicators.
• Recommend improvements to contract wording and internal monitoring practices.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects to enhance audit tools, processes and methodologies, including Power BI dashboards and AI pilots.
• Support the development of templates, training materials and knowledge‑sharing tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supplier audit or contract compliance roles, preferably within a global procurement environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to detect risks and quantify impacts.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across Procurement, Legal, Finance and Business Units.
• Ability to lead audit assignments independently and drive corrective‑action implementation.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.
