Business Analyst – SAP Finance Solutions

About the role

Join the SAP Solutions area of Mercedes‑Benz Group in Madrid and act as a strategic bridge between finance operations and technology teams. You will help shape finance‑focused SAP solutions that support global projects across Europe and beyond, driving continuous improvement and data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and validate business requirements through interviews, workshops and data analysis.
• Assess current finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C) to identify inefficiencies and propose optimisation.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for IT and development teams, supporting implementation, testing and rollout.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring alignment on project goals.
• Perform system analytics, create financial models, conduct variance analysis and develop dashboards and reports.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in finance process analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to work with both business and technical audiences.
• Ability to work in a matrixed, international environment.
