About the role
The Business Development Manager will drive enterprise growth within the global payments and fintech ecosystem, targeting key European markets. You will identify, engage, and close strategic enterprise clients across sectors such as e‑commerce, travel, mobility, iGaming, and SaaS, helping them adopt a unified payment infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure across European markets.
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, industry events, and referrals.
- Engage C‑level and senior stakeholders with consultative sales approaches.
- Develop deep expertise in target industries to position tailored value propositions.
- Collaborate with Customer Account Managers and Solutions Engineers to design proposals and ensure smooth implementation handover.
- Maintain accurate CRM pipelines (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for forecasting and visibility.
- Stay up‑to‑date on payments, fintech trends, and regulatory developments.
Required profile
- Proven experience in enterprise business development or complex B2B sales.
- Strong track record of closing large enterprise deals with long sales cycles.
- Solid understanding of payment technologies and financial services ecosystems.
- Experience in startup or scale‑up environments, building pipeline independently.
- Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
