Chief Financial Officer – Finance Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a commercially astute, transformation‑focused Chief Financial Officer to partner with the CEO of a privately owned, international services group based in Spain. This high‑impact leadership role will drive financial strategy, digital transformation and operational excellence across multiple projects and jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Lead ERP implementation and broader digital finance transformation initiatives.
• Oversee financial planning, reporting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Drive project profitability analysis across multiple revenue streams.
• Manage accounting, audit, tax and regulatory compliance in Spain.
• Evaluate capital structure, support fundraising initiatives and manage investor relationships.
• Strengthen financial systems, controls and reporting frameworks.
• Provide commercial insight and board‑level financial reporting.
• Lead, mentor and scale a finance team of 10+ professionals.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, transformation‑oriented CFO with strong strategic and operational capabilities.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (Master’s preferred) and 5+ years in senior finance leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading ERP implementation and digital finance transformation.
• Deep knowledge of Spanish accounting, tax and regulatory frameworks.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience in fast‑paced, project‑driven environments and stakeholder management at CEO/Board level.
• Fundraising, capital‑structure and M&A experience is highly valued.
