Cloud Operations Engineer

About the role

Changan Automobile is expanding its global footprint and seeks a Cloud Operations Engineer for its Madrid office. You will be responsible for managing public cloud infrastructure and ensuring the high availability of the connected vehicle platform.

Key responsibilities

• Manage public cloud resources (servers, networks, databases, container clusters) across AWS, Azure, and Alibaba Cloud.
• Monitor and maintain stability of connected vehicle applications, implementing high‑availability and fault‑tolerance measures.
• Perform routine maintenance, system updates, issue resolution, and emergency response.
• Document maintenance activities and incident reports.
• Improve operational workflows and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Respond to outages, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of experience in cloud operations or a similar role.
• Fluent English; additional European language is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Public cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud.
• Linux system administration.
• Databases: MySQL, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus.
• Design for high availability, observability, and operational processes.
