Customer Inventory Operations Manager

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Customer Inventory Operations Manager to lead the Inventory Control and Administration teams at its Corredor del Henares site. You will be the primary point of contact for up to six key customers, ensuring accurate inventory management and continuous improvement of operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly communication with up to six customers, addressing issues and driving continuous improvement.
• Monitor and report customer inventory accuracy to site leadership.
• Plan and execute proactive and reactive cycle counts in line with service level agreements.
• Develop resource plans, equipment budgets and monthly KPI controls for each customer.
• Lead the implementation, validation and improvement of inventory procedures, controls and systems.
• Collaborate with the Site Manager, Operations Manager and technology teams to resolve WMS (Generix) issues and develop action plans.

Required profile

• Experience in contract logistics, preferably in a customer‑facing role.
• Background working with fashion customers is highly valuable.
• Strong lean‑thinking mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for daily interaction with demanding customers.
