Customer Quality Engineer – Automotive

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Quality Engineer to join Magna Mirrors Spain. In this role you will be responsible for managing customer complaints, associated costs and ensuring the successful launch of new automotive products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the analysis of customer claims together with multidisciplinary teams using containment, 8‑D, and AMFE reviews.
• Maintain continuous communication with customers via email, phone and on‑site visits.
• Manage quality activities related to process or product changes and validate customer invoices.
• Collaborate with production to provide and receive ongoing feedback.
• Handle customer derogations and validate internal derogations.
• Define and enforce quality criteria together with SQA and Production Quality.
• Support project teams to ensure proper product launch, including PPAP management.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Industrial, Organization or similar).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer‑focused quality within the automotive sector.
• Fluent English; additional languages (French, Italian, German) are a plus.
• Willingness to travel approximately once a month.
