Department Manager – New Store Opening

About the role

As a Department Manager you will lead a passionate team in a brand‑new store, creating memorable customer experiences and driving sales performance. You will set the tone for a welcoming, inspiring environment while ensuring operational excellence on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑level customer service through expert styling advice and strong product knowledge.
• Analyse sales data and collaborate with the Store/Concession Manager to maximise department performance.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Sales Advisors to meet service and presentation standards.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.
• Identify and nurture future talent, contributing to development plans.
• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and brand alignment.
• Act as a brand ambassador, delivering the best possible experience for every customer.
• Step in as Store Manager when required to ensure continuity.

Required profile

• Proven knowledge of store operations and standards, preferably in fashion retail.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a genuine passion for engaging shoppers.
• Strong product enthusiasm and the ability to share it authentically.
• Eagerness to learn, open to feedback and personal development.
• Excellent communication skills, both with customers and team members.
• Adaptable and flexible, comfortable working varied hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (recruitment partially in English).
