DevOps Engineer – Automated Testing (Remote)

About the role

This position is part of a critical aviation project that delivers a cloud‑native digital platform for flight operations. You will lead the design and implementation of an automated testing framework that integrates with existing microservices, APIs, and workflows, while collaborating closely with a Senior Architect.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable automated testing framework using Python.
• Analyze current CI/CD pipelines to embed testing at appropriate integration points.
• Define validation strategies for APIs, services, and workflows across multiple environments.
• Adapt and extend existing tools to create a unified testing approach.
• Ensure compliance with DevSecOps, security, and quality best practices.
• Document architecture decisions, design patterns, and framework usage.
• Troubleshoot system‑level issues affecting both the application and testing ecosystem.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps or comparable technical role.
• Strong software engineering mindset with the ability to make architectural decisions.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work autonomously.
• Experience working in Agile, complex engineering environments.
