Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst with strong financial modelling expertise to join our fast‑growing FP&A and Investor Relations team. Reporting to the FP&A and Investor Relations Manager, you will support strategic planning, monthly reporting, investor relations, and the automation of finance processes during a critical growth phase.

Key responsibilities

• Update and extend the multi‑year strategic financial model (2026‑2031) with revenue, headcount, capex, and sales scenarios.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, including scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis.
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards and board‑ready financial packages.
• Partner with Project Management to budget and track public funding projects (CDTI, IPCEI, Horizon Europe, EIC, EIB).
• Assist the monthly close process: variance analysis, management reporting, cash‑flow forecasting, and checklist maintenance.
• Align P&L and balance‑sheet line names with IFRS and US GAAP best practices.
• Research VC, CVC, and PE firms focused on semiconductor and deep‑tech to enrich the investor pipeline.
• Maintain the investor CRM, log interactions, and prepare investor‑facing materials.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude) to automate data extraction, reconciliation, narrative generation, and scenario analysis.
• Develop finance automation tools for reporting, procurement workflows, and data pipelines.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 4‑7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or management consulting.
• Strong financial modelling skills in Excel (multi‑tab models, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, scenario and sensitivity analysis, data validation, conditional formatting).
• Working knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP frameworks (US GAAP, UK GAAP, etc.).
• Spanish at working proficiency and Business English at C1 level.
• Digital mindset with curiosity about AI tools and process automation.
• Excellent structure, organization, and documentation discipline.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, agile scale‑up environment.
