Global Allocation Manager

About the role

The Global Allocation Manager drives continuous improvement of supply across Lear’s Electronics and Wiring plants, ensuring balanced inventories despite supplier capacity constraints. This role partners with both internal manufacturing teams and external suppliers to maintain uninterrupted material flow for critical raw‑material part numbers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supplier engagements to resolve escalated critical supply constraints and guarantee continuity of supply to Lear’s manufacturing facilities.
• Coordinate complex escalations with cross‑functional internal teams (manufacturing, quality, engineering, purchasing) to implement short‑ and long‑term corrective actions.
• Provide market and capacity insights to the commodity purchasing team, influencing sourcing decisions.
• Develop and execute allocation strategies with suppliers and plant operations to meet production targets.
• Support materials teams during immediate supply crises, driving rapid resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum eight (8) years of supply‑chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.
