Global Export and Agency Finance Analyst

About the role

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking is looking for a Global Export and Agency Finance Analyst to join its Export Credit & Agency (ECA) team in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid. The analyst will work on the front‑office origination and execution platform for ECA‑covered and MLA transactions worldwide, supporting deal teams from business development through execution.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior team members in structuring and executing ECA‑covered financing transactions across sectors and geographies.
• Contribute to business development activities, including screening new opportunities, coordinating with bankers and ECAs, and helping develop new ECA products.
• Drive internal coordination with Legal, Compliance, E&S, Syndication, Middle Office, Project Finance and other stakeholders.
• Prepare high‑quality internal and external materials with strong analytical content and professional presentation.
• Assist in the execution process through internal approval stages such as business committees, risk approvals, legal and middle‑office sign‑off.
