Head of Valuations (Director)

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to head our Valuations function within ServiZurich, the technology arm of Zurich Insurance Group. In this role you will guide a team of quantitative analysts, shape valuation frameworks, and ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory standards across global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and oversee global valuation frameworks, methodologies, procedures, and associated controls, including Fair Value Measurement Guidance and IFRS13 Fair Value Hierarchy Level Allocation.
• Lead comprehensive pricing processes for traditional and non‑traditional asset types, including illiquid, complex, and model‑driven valuations.
• Enhance and maintain the pricing dashboard strategy to provide full transparency on pricing inputs and asset exposures.
• Ensure daily pricing activities are complete, accurate, independently reviewed, and fully compliant with internal and external regulations.
• Supervise the global investment valuation function and chair the IFRS Group Valuation Forum and Group Investment Management valuation meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading valuation or quantitative analysis teams in a financial services environment.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS13, fair value measurement, and regulatory valuation requirements.
• Expertise in valuing complex and illiquid financial instruments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to influence strategic decision‑making.
