HEOR / HTA Specialist

About the role

The HEOR / HTA Specialist supports Novartis in developing evidence‑based product access strategies across the product lifecycle. Working from Barcelona or Madrid, the role collaborates with internal market access teams and external health technology assessment bodies to ensure optimal market entry and reimbursement conditions for patients and the health‑care system.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with HTA and evaluation bodies to position Novartis as a preferred evidence partner.
• Collaborate with Early Access, HEOR, Pricing, and Market Access teams to develop pricing and reimbursement (P&R) tools such as value dossiers, health‑economic models, and budget impact analyses.
• Conduct competitive intelligence on disease management, product competitors, and funding pathways to anticipate barriers and opportunities.
• Integrate HEOR and access requirements into Integrated Product Evidence plans for new products or indications.
• Provide timely feedback and support to regional, European, and global teams on evidence needs.
• Lead the generation of high‑quality real‑world evidence studies, including health‑economic, patient‑reported outcomes, and burden‑of‑disease analyses.
• Prepare product access plans and support negotiations with evaluative bodies.
