Host/Hostess – Welcome Ambassador (Marbella)

About the role

The Host/Hostess acts as the first point of contact for guests at Nikki Beach Marbella, embodying the brand’s spirit with warmth, elegance, and professionalism. You will welcome guests, manage the flow from arrival to seating, and ensure a seamless, memorable experience throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a warm, personalized welcome in line with brand standards.
• Oversee the guest journey from entrance to seating across restaurant, bar, lounge, and cabanas.
• Manage daily reservations, waiting lists, and guest preferences using the appropriate systems.
• Strategically assign tables based on guest profiles, service flow, and operational needs.
• Coordinate continuously with floor staff, bar, kitchen, and security to maintain smooth guest flow.
• Handle VIPs, birthdays, and special events with discretion and tailored attention.
• Stay fully informed of menus, specials, and promotions to make confident recommendations.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and visual presentation of the reception area at all times.
• Execute opening, service, and closing procedures at the host stand.
• Participate in daily briefings and training sessions.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a hostess or in a guest‑facing hospitality role, preferably in luxury or high‑volume venues.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong hospitality mindset.
• Highly organized, able to multitask under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional appearance, discretion, courtesy, and charisma.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of reservation systems and guest seating coordination.
• Ability to use suggestive selling techniques.
