HR Manager – Valencia Excellence Hub

About the role

Join MSC Cruises’ new Excellence Hub in Valencia as an HR Manager and shape the people strategy for a fast‑growing, high‑volume commercial operation. You will build a multilingual sales workforce, support rapid hiring waves, and create a sustainable talent pipeline that underpins business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Translate site growth targets into practical HR plans covering hiring, onboarding, retention and workforce stability.
• Oversee the full employee life‑cycle: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR reporting and compliance.
• Develop initiatives to reduce attrition, improve retention and limit absenteeism.
• Manage key people data across recruitment, payroll, engagement surveys and regulatory tracking tools.
• Support rapid hiring waves, seasonal workforce needs and evolving Spanish labour requirements.
• Partner with Sales Leadership, Training, Finance and global HR teams as a trusted local HR partner.
• Act as a liaison between the local hub and headquarters, ensuring alignment with global HR guidelines.
• Maintain constructive dialogue with local employee representatives, unions and external talent communities.

Required profile

• Proven HR leadership experience in a high‑volume, commercial environment.
• Experience managing multilingual teams and supporting rapid hiring cycles.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish labour and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to partner with senior business leaders and act as a pragmatic problem‑solver.
• Experience building relationships with universities, chambers of commerce and talent networks.
