Industrial Performance & Continuous Improvement Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Industrial Performance and Continuous Improvement Engineer to join Thales Alenia Space in Tres Cantos, Madrid. The role will support the company’s Industry 4.0 transformation by deploying IoT solutions, improving data analytics, and enhancing performance dashboards across production and industrial departments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or support the deployment and integration of IoT devices and sensor networks in manufacturing environments.
• Collaborate on digital transformation projects to optimise processes through automation, data analytics and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Design and develop data preparation workflows to extract critical information and improve visualisation performance.
• Build robust data sourcing pipelines for new industrial data solutions.
• Work with Methods, Industrialisation, Production, Components, Mechanical and Electrical Design, and Technology teams to enhance existing indicators and dashboards.

Required profile

• Engineer specialised in computer engineering, electronics, industrial IT, automation, software engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an infrastructure department.
• Meticulous attention to detail, positive mindset and strong organisational abilities.
• Adaptable, proactive and capable of delivering technical and organisational solutions.
• Experience with industrial digital technologies, Agile methodology and tools such as ERP, MRP, MES and PLM.
