Junior Frontend Engineer - Growth

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Frontend Engineer to join our Growth Squad and help shape how Spendesk acquires and converts customers. You will work closely with engineers and marketers, building landing pages, running A/B experiments, and contributing to AI‑driven marketing workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain pages and components on Spendesk and CFO Connect sites using Nuxt.js, Vue.js and Storyblok.
• Implement A/B tests and UX variants, analyse results and translate insights into site improvements.
• Apply SEO best practices, manage metadata, structured data and semantic HTML.
• Monitor Core Web Vitals and address regressions proactively.
• Implement tracking events and funnels via Segment and ensure data accuracy in Amplitude and Google Analytics.
• Contribute to agentic AI workflows across marketing and GTM.
• Participate in code reviews and write clean, readable code.
• Leverage AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) for boilerplate, debugging and pattern discovery.

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Up to two years of front‑end development experience from internships, bootcamps, apprenticeships or personal projects.
• Strong motivation to grow quickly in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with Vue.js or similar component‑based frameworks (Nuxt.js, React, Svelte).
• TypeScript.
• Storyblok CMS.
• Amplitude (experiment & analytics), Google Analytics, Google Search Console.
• Segment for event tracking.
• HubSpot, Salesforce.
• Netlify deployment.
• AI development tools: Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Dust, Claude Code.
• Project management tools: Linear, Notion.
