Junior Penetration Tester (Entry-Level)

About the role

We are looking for an entry‑level Penetration Tester to join our cybersecurity team. Under the guidance of senior testers, you will help identify and assess security weaknesses across networks, systems, web applications and cloud platforms, gaining hands‑on offensive security experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing engagements on networks, servers, web applications and cloud environments.
• Identify, validate and document security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
• Develop proof‑of‑concept exploits and simulate real‑world attack scenarios.
• Prepare clear reports with findings, impact analysis and remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps and security teams to track and verify remediation actions.
• Maintain and configure testing tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite and Metasploit.
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities and offensive techniques.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
• At least one recognized penetration‑testing certification (e.g., CEH, OSCP, CompTIA PenTest+, GPEN).
• Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and both Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Hands‑on lab or internship experience in penetration testing, participation in CTFs or bug‑bounty programs.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and detail‑orientation skills.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1) and willingness to learn in a fast‑evolving threat landscape.
