Legal & Integrity Specialist – Projects

About the role

ABB is seeking a Legal & Integrity Specialist to support its Projects division. You will provide independent legal advice, manage contractual matters, and contribute to integrity and compliance initiatives across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate contracts throughout the full lifecycle, collaborating with business stakeholders and the Legal & Integrity team.
• Provide legal and integrity advice to ABB management and business units.
• Monitor legal affairs, including integrity, intellectual property, and litigation matters, in partnership with Division General Counsels.
• Support Mergers & Acquisitions and divestiture transactions as required.
• Deliver Legal & Integrity training to business teams.
• Identify risks, external threats and opportunities, proposing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Act as a trusted business partner while maintaining independence.

Required profile

• Spanish law degree (Grado en Derecho); qualification as Abogado is a plus.
• At least 5 years of legal experience in a law firm, multinational company, or relevant industry (process industries, renewables, rail).
• Proven experience with complex cross‑border contractual arrangements for system deliveries.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and within multicultural teams.
