Localization QA Analyst – French

About the role

Join 2K, a leading global video game publisher, as a Localization Quality Assurance Analyst focused on French. You will ensure that localized game builds meet linguistic, functional, and visual standards, contributing to the quality of world‑class titles.

Key responsibilities

• Execute test passes on French‑localized builds to verify accuracy.
• Identify, log, and reproduce localization bugs ranging from translation errors to UI issues.
• Maintain consistency in spelling, grammar, terminology, tone, variable usage, and cultural appropriateness.
• Edit or propose fixes directly within text management systems where applicable.
• Support glossary and style‑guide validation as part of broader quality cycles.
• Follow documented test plans and help create or improve test cases.
• Evaluate localization quality against internal standards, platform terminology, and branding requirements.
• Review tickets or player reports, reproduce issues, and escalate verified bugs.
• Participate in LQA stand‑ups, bug‑triage sessions, and milestone QA reviews.
• Stay current on project terminology and act as a resource for the team.

Required profile

• Fluent in French with strong written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow structured QA processes.
• Experience with localization testing and bug tracking.
• Familiarity with text‑management or localization tools.
