Manager Commercial Finance – Iberia

About the role

Mondelēz International is looking for a Manager Commercial Finance to join its Iberia Commercial Finance team in Spain. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager Iberia, you will be the senior financial partner for several sales leads, each managing key customer accounts. You will own the financial dimensions of Customer Business Plans, lead the month-end close for your accounts and advise sales partners on the financial impact of their decisions. The role is not a people-management position, but you will mentor two junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop Customer Business Plans by account, keeping financial assumptions robust and aligned with company targets
• Guide sales leads through the P&L impact of their commercial decisions and challenge where needed
• Lead the month-end close for your accounts, delivering clear variance analysis and flagging risks and opportunities
• Enforce pricing protocols, data visibility rules and accrual policies, and run quarterly margin reviews with sales managers
• Contribute to Annual Contract planning, rolling forecasts and target development with the Commercial Finance and FP&A teams
• Act as the finance point of contact for strategic customer initiatives in cross-functional and international projects
• Coordinate, mentor and motivate the team of three, and drive continuous improvement of reporting, planning and controls
• Run ad hoc analyses and projects such as pricing deep-dives, promotional impact assessments and scenario modelling

Required profile

• 5-10 years of experience in finance, with a strong track record in commercial finance, FP&A or a similar analytical role; CPG/FMCG experience is highly valued
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
• Fluent Spanish and English, used on a daily basis
• Strong communication, strategic thinking, informal leadership and integrity

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and MS Office
• Familiarity with SAP, planning tools (e.g. SAC) and Power BI is a plus
