Production & Maintenance Trainee (University Internship)

About the role

This is a part‑time university‑company internship within PETRONAS Lubricants International's production and maintenance area. The trainee will support daily operational reporting, material handling, and continuous improvement activities while gaining hands‑on experience in a global lubricants manufacturer.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and convert hourly Excel data into OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) reports.
• Prepare daily production and mix reports.
• Assist Kaizen initiatives and draft work instructions.
• Receive and record maintenance materials using SAP (MIGO transaction).
• Support maintenance of the C‑TAIMA platform.
• Help manage work orders and notifications.

Required profile

• Intermediate level of English.
• Enrolled in a university degree or master program (engineering or related field).
• Proactive, flexible and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel for data handling.
• SAP (specifically MIGO transaction) for material management.
• Understanding of OEE reporting.
• Familiarity with Kaizen/continuous improvement methods.
