Python Software Engineer – AutoDL

About the role

Revolut is looking for a Python Software Engineer to join its AI team and build the core infrastructure behind AutoDL. You will work on high‑performance, GPU‑heavy workloads that power regulated financial systems and enable automated training and deployment of machine‑learning models.

Key responsibilities

• Improve GPU utilisation and performance for large‑scale workloads.
• Ensure low‑latency, high‑throughput predictions in production.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable services supporting the AI lifecycle.
• Develop the core AutoDL platform for automated model training and deployment.
• Create infrastructure and APIs that integrate third‑party services.
• Implement and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for model validation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Establish AI governance and reproducibility back‑bones.
• Design systems for real‑time inference on high‑load ML use cases.
• Build scalable, event‑driven data pipelines (behavioural, transactional streams).

Required profile

• Experience with deep learning in production, including inference optimisation and transformer‑based models.
• Hands‑on experience with GPU‑heavy workloads, memory management and performance tuning.
• A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent technical background.
• Strong foundation in computer‑science principles.
• Proven track record designing and operating scalable backend systems in production.
• Proficiency in Python as the primary language, with knowledge of additional programming languages.
• Expertise in distributed systems and modern infrastructure practices such as containerisation.
