Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer will act as the primary contact for cyber‑defence activities across AXA entities and operating companies. You will lead day‑to‑day security operations, manage incidents, change requests and ensure the delivery of security tools and services as the first line of defence.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute security operations, incident management, change and resolution processes for in‑scope services.
• Oversee infrastructure security, audit remediation, vulnerability management and security monitoring.
• Report on security tool coverage, SLA/KPI/KRI compliance and drive improvements with stakeholders.
• Serve as the security operations SME, guiding detection, response and post‑mortem analysis.
• Collaborate with OpCos, regional/local CISOs, vendors and the global Cyber Defence team.
• Participate in global security programmes, audits and remediation actions.
• Promote security policies, culture and act as an advisor to business units.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of IT experience, including 10 years in IT security.
• Proven track record running security operations and related projects.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure and application vulnerabilities, architectures and security challenges.
