Senior Accountant – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position reports to the Tax & Accounting Manager and is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting core accounting functions, and contributing to key finance projects within LVMH Beauty Iberia.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices (PO and non‑PO) and employee expenses, execute payment runs, and ensure policy compliance.
• Reconcile vendor accounts, bank entries, and corporate credit cards; manage vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies.
• Track and depreciate fixed assets, monitor leasing contracts, and ensure proper asset accounting.
• Validate and record purchases, follow up with suppliers, and maintain accurate invoicing records.
• Prepare Intrastat reports, support VAT, CIT, and WHT filings, and monitor regulatory changes.
• Review GL accounts, perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, and assist with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closings.
• Participate in accounting projects such as e‑invoicing and ERP/SAP enhancements, including UAT, data migration, and user training.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting roles.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (C1); French is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, international environment.
