Senior Site Manager

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Site Manager to act as the primary liaison between the sponsor and investigational sites in Madrid. The role ensures sites are inspection‑ready and compliant with trial protocols, SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulations from start‑up through closure.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main local contact for assigned clinical trial sites.
• Participate in site feasibility assessments and qualification visits.
• Support investigator meetings, prepare materials and present when required.
• Execute site initiation, start‑up, monitoring (on‑site and remote), and close‑out activities in line with SOPs and work instructions.
• Collaborate with the Local Trial Manager, Clinical Trial Assistant and Trial Delivery Leader to manage trial activities.
• Contribute to process improvements, training and mentoring of other site managers.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in clinical site management or related trial support functions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong partnership skills with cross‑functional trial teams.
• Experience in driving compliance and inspection readiness.
