Senior Vendor Manager Kindle (French speaker)

About the role

Amazon Kindle is seeking a senior‑level Vendor Manager who is fluent in French to lead relationships with key publishers in France. You will help ensure that Amazon customers can discover, purchase, and enjoy a wide range of e‑books while driving selection, subscription participation, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute category strategy for major publishers, aligning vision with internal stakeholders.
• Manage publisher‑level metrics such as selection breadth, subscription uptake, and profit margins.
• Act as the primary liaison with C‑level contacts at publishing houses, negotiating terms and fostering long‑term partnerships.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and reader preferences to inform product innovation.
• Collaborate with global Kindle teams to launch new services and automate processes.

Required profile

• Proven track record in negotiation, relationship building, and analytical decision‑making.
• Ability to influence across multiple Amazon organizations and deliver measurable results.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, self‑starter attitude, and customer‑centric focus.
• Experience driving cross‑team collaboration and managing P&L responsibilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel.
• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing French.
