Tax Accountant & Fiscal Advisor (Hybrid, Barcelona)

About the role

Atlex, a fast‑growing immigration law firm, is looking for a Tax Accountant & Fiscal Advisor to support its international client base, primarily expats and foreign professionals navigating Spanish tax residency, as well as corporate clients. You will also manage the firm’s internal accounting and mentor a junior apprentice, working in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit IRPF declarations for residents and new arrivals.
• Handle Beckham Law (régimen de impatriados) applications and provide advisory support.
• Analyse double‑taxation treaties for international clients.
• Obtain digital certificates and manage autonomo registrations.
• Manage Impuesto de Sociedades and IVA filings for corporate clients.
• Perform full‑cycle bookkeeping and accounting for the firm.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual filings with the Agencia Tributaria (internal reconciliation).
• Oversee payroll coordination and flexible compensation management (internal reconciliation).
• Communicate with clients in both Spanish and English.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Spanish tax advisory or accounting.
• Hands‑on experience with IRPF, corporate tax (IS) and IVA.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Familiarity with expat and non‑resident tax situations.
• REAF membership or equivalent fiscal certification (valued).
