Tax and Procurement Graduate

About the role

Rakuten TV is seeking a motivated Junior Finance Operations Specialist to join its Finance team in Barcelona. The graduate role combines tax compliance and procurement responsibilities, offering early‑career professionals broad exposure to critical finance functions across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Support VAT and indirect tax booking, reconciliation and filing in the ERP system for selected jurisdictions.
• Assist with withholding tax filings and preparation of regulatory reports (e.g., M111, M216, M190, M296).
• Maintain the tax compliance calendar, gather documentation for external advisors and audits, and keep VAT rates up to date.
• Act as the day‑to‑day administrator of the Precoro procurement platform, managing purchase orders, approval workflows and vendor onboarding.
• Ensure 3‑way matching of purchase requests, vendor invoices and purchase orders, and identify improvements to procurement processes.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Legal, Operations and external advisors on tax and procurement matters.

Required profile

• Motivated and organised graduate with an interest in finance, tax and procurement.
• Early‑career finance professional comfortable working cross‑functionally.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor deadlines and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Experience with an ERP system for tax accounting.
• Familiarity with the Precoro procurement platform.
• Knowledge of VAT, withholding tax and related filing processes.
