1-to-1 School Support Assistant – Marbella (Start Aug 31, 2026)

About the role

We are looking for a warm, reliable, and physically active assistant to support a 9‑year‑old full‑time wheelchair user during her school day in Marbella. The role focuses on safe mobility, personal care, and inclusive participation in classroom and sports activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with transfers between wheelchair, standing frame, and seating for activities.
• Provide personal care for bathroom routines and changing for PE and swimming lessons.
• Support basic stretching and physiotherapy exercises as guided.
• Escort the student safely around the school campus and ensure full participation in lessons and sports.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in Spain (valid NIE/TIE with work permission).
• Physical stamina for lifting and transfers.
• Fluent English; intermediate Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to provide clean background checks (Spanish sexual offences certificate and UK DBS/ICPC if applicable).
• Patient, caring, organized, and enthusiastic personality.
