2º Jefe de SSTT

About the role

The Cala San Miguel Resort in Ibiza is looking for a second‑in‑command to lead Safety, Health and Environment (SSTT) activities. You will support the department head in ensuring that all facilities, equipment and public areas operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute repairs, upgrades and preventive maintenance for buildings, machinery, furniture and other assets.
• Verify that invoicing and receipt allocation are accurate.
• Prepare and analyse budgets for installations, equipment purchases and preventive‑maintenance programmes.
• Supervise the material warehouse, controlling stock movements and conducting regular physical inventories.
• Oversee the upkeep of gardens, sports facilities and other outdoor areas.
• Coordinate special‑event set‑ups such as banquets and conventions.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.
• Develop disinfection and pest‑control programmes in line with official health standards.
• Assist the department manager with staff scheduling, attendance tracking and leave management.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in maintenance (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio en mantenimiento).
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar maintenance or facilities‑management role.
• High level of English is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of office software and hospitality operations is valued.
• Strong organisational, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
