A400M Engineering Change Leader

About the role

Airbus Defence & Space is looking for an Engineering Change Leader to join the Military Aircraft Configuration Engineering department in Getafe. You will act as the Change Leader for the Systems and Integration Team on the A400M programme, supporting configuration activities across multiple aircraft ATAs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the flow of engineering modifications and support the preparation of modification documents (CR/TRS).
• Support certification processes for authorities and prepare configuration reports at various stages.
• Define criteria and requirements for design product structures and ensure compliance with change objectives.
• Participate in configuration meetings and represent the team in cross‑functional discussions.
• Contribute to PLM requirements, verification, validation and the update of configuration procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years experience in the aeronautic domain, preferably in Configuration Management, Design, Systems Analysis or Manufacturing Engineering.
• At least 2 years experience in Configuration Management on Airbus programmes such as A400M, A350 or A380.

Required skills

• Proficiency with configuration and PLM tools (ICC, PDMLink System View, APS modules).
