Account Executive - Emerging Enterprise & Digital Native, Iberia

About the role

Databricks is looking for an Account Executive based in Madrid who sells to Emerging Enterprise (companies with annual turnover between $250M and $1B) and Digital Native accounts across Spain and Portugal. The role suits a hunter with strong prospecting skills and a passion for acquiring new logos, working alongside Databricks' teams and partners to deliver value to its largest customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the territory and develop a successful execution strategy
• Exceed activity and quarterly revenue targets
• Identify new use-case opportunities and showcase value to existing customers
• Promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark
• Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and prioritize opportunities with the right resources
• Build a success plan internally at Databricks and externally with each account

Required profile

• Proven track record selling cloud, data or AI solutions to mid-Enterprise customers in Spain and Portugal; experience with Digital Natives is highly desirable
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and quotas
• Business fluency in English and Spanish

Required skills

• Solution and business-outcomes focused approach (Command of the Message, MEDDPIC, Challenger Sale)
• Experience with consumption-based selling preferred
• Ability to explain complex cloud and big data technologies and their business value clearly
