Account Representative, Endomech/Energy (Fixed-Term)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson's Surgery team is looking for an Account Representative (temporary/fixed-term contract) in Madrid and Castilla-La Mancha. Within the Sales Organization, the role promotes and communicates the benefits of the ETHICON Endomech & Energy portfolio to drive sales results. It is a commission-based position in clinical sales to surgeons, reporting to the Sales Organization.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the Endomech & Energy portfolio and act as the main contact between the business and its customers, identifying new prospects and supporting existing clients.
• Implement marketing strategies in the assigned region and achieve sales targets.
• Use consultative selling to find opportunities and support the surgical team during laparoscopic procedures.
• Maintain close client relationships, negotiating prices, deadlines and conditions.
• Educate customers on Endomechanical and Energy products through technical and clinical information and in-service training, and prepare product demonstrations.
• Present and discuss the latest clinical data with health professionals and analyze market data and competitor activity.
• Keep detailed weekly records of contacts and activity.

Required profile

• University degree in natural sciences or neuroscience (medical, psychology, chemistry, biology, pharmacy) or similar.
• Fluent English and fluent Spanish.
• Proven sales track record, excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills, and strong relationship management.
• Plus: experience in medical device sales, colorectal, bariatric or thoracic surgery, and with complex technical systems or critical patient care settings.

• Base pay of EUR 28,500 to 44,505, plus an annual bonus and/or sales commissions.
