Accountant – Finance Team (Valencia)

About the role

JOIN MATCH Hospitality’s finance team as an Accountant supporting the high‑profile Formula 1 Madrid project. Based in Valencia, you will handle day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations in a fast‑paced, international sports‑events environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices, monitor payments and resolve outstanding balances.
• Process supplier invoices and employee expenses, run payments and reconcile supplier statements.
• Support month‑end closing, journal entries, balance‑sheet reviews and monthly variance analysis.
• Assist with daily treasury activities, bank reconciliations and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Help prepare VAT and other tax filings, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Support internal and external audit processes and maintain strong financial controls.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and reporting.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with accounts payable/receivable exposure.
• Familiarity with month‑end close processes, reconciliations and audit support.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to meet deadlines.
• Team‑oriented communication skills and comfort working in a dynamic environment.
