Accountant (m/f/d) – Real Estate Funds

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to manage the accounting processes of real‑estate investment funds based in Malaga. You will work closely with fund managers, auditors and tax consultants to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting processes for real‑estate investment funds.
• Assist in preparing annual, interim and special financial statements.
• Perform regular valuations of fund assets.
• Conduct quality assurance on rental debit positions, provisions, depreciation, remuneration and capital‑gains tax.
• Ensure proper booking of purchases, sales, investments and other business transactions.
• Serve as the primary contact for fund management, auditors and tax consultants on accounting matters.
• Support the execution of fund distributions.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration with an accounting focus or comparable accountant training.
• Minimum 1 year of professional accounting experience; experience with real‑asset accounting is a plus.
• Good knowledge of local GAAP, international GAAP or IFRS.
• Strong communication skills, service‑oriented attitude and ability to work independently.
• Experience in a multinational environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SAP R/3 or other accounting software.
