Advisory Quality & Risk Management Senior

About the role

Join the Advisory Quality & Risk Management (AQRM) team to provide risk and quality support across advisory and tax services, helping client‑facing teams manage and mitigate risks while ensuring high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide risk management and quality support to advisory and tax teams.
• Review drafts of engagement contracts and related documents, liaising with AQRM and the wider Quality & Risk community.
• Support, educate and coach client‑facing teams to enhance risk awareness.
• Develop and maintain training materials and deliver relevant training sessions.
• Ensure required controls are understood and implemented by client‑facing teams.
• Identify and manage emerging risks, contributing digital‑first ideas.
• Collaborate with Legal, Ethics and other central support teams to improve policies and processes.
• Develop guidance materials, templates and support service‑line file review procedures.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA with advisory/tax experience, or a legal/risk management background advising on contracts under English law.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on delivering high‑quality output.
• Commercial awareness and ability to balance risk with reward.
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining a big‑picture perspective.
• Understanding of ethical principles applicable to professional services firms.
• Resilient individual who thrives in a diverse team environment.
