Aerodynamics Engineer (Military Derivatives)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Aerodynamic Data Engineer to join our team in Getafe. You will support the manufacturing and in‑service phases of our current and future aircraft fleet by generating and analysing aerodynamic data for loads, handling qualities and performance. The role involves participation in wind‑tunnel campaigns and flight‑test activities within a multidisciplinary, transnational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Post‑process and analyse aerodynamic data to produce comprehensive models for performance, handling qualities and loads in both steady and unsteady regimes.
• Define, attend and analyse results of wind‑tunnel tests.
• Define, attend and analyse results of flight tests, including steering flight test and real‑time decisions based on live telemetry.
• Ensure optimized aerodynamic solutions and data are delivered to customers on time, cost and quality targets.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an aerodynamic characterisation role within the aerospace industry.
• Strong experience with numerical aerodynamic prediction tools and generation of aerodynamic databases from experimental, flight‑test and CFD data.
• Advanced level of English.
