AI Developer Intern

About the role

Join Zurich Technology Delivery Center in Barcelona as an AI Developer Intern, working on end‑to‑end AI applications for the insurance group. You will collaborate with a senior team delivering real‑world AI solutions that support key business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python/FastAPI backend services and REST APIs.
• Integrate large language model (LLM) capabilities into application workflows.
• Create AI agents and embed them into core insurance processes.
• Connect internal and external data sources via APIs.

Required profile

• Active student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or a related field at a Spanish university.
• Availability for at least 6 months, up to 30 hours per week (preferably 12 months).
• Solid Python skills and ability to build backend services independently.
• Understanding of REST APIs and comfortable using Git.
• Fluent in English and a curious, self‑starting attitude.
