About the role

Join Airbus Discover II, an 11‑month graduate program that combines a master’s curriculum with a full‑time internship in Spain. You will work on artificial‑intelligence‑driven methods for composite structural sizing, helping to predict reserve factors for aerospace structures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and train machine‑learning models to predict structural reserve factors.
• Integrate AI tools with existing finite‑element workflows (Abaqus, Nastran, Hypermesh).
• Validate model predictions against certification standards set by EASA.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical engineering, materials, and aerodynamics.
• Document findings and present results to senior engineers.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (BSc/MSc) in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work in an international, collaborative environment.
