Air Supply Systems Engineer

About the role

Air Supply Systems Engineer position within Airbus Operations in Getafe, Spain. The role is part of the In Service Programs Team, focusing on continuous improvement and airworthiness of air supply systems for in‑service aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate in‑service events and topics related to EBAS, PADS and OHDS under ATA 36 to ensure continuous airworthiness.
• Design and develop new equipment and system modifications as part of the continuous improvement strategy.
• Define validation, verification and qualification strategies in close liaison with external equipment suppliers.
• Produce all technical documentation for ATA 36 programs, meeting time, cost, quality and performance targets.
• Execute projects following Airbus development processes (ABD0200, DARE, TRL, etc.).
• Collaborate with external manufacturers and internal stakeholders such as Chief Engineer, Customer Services and Airworthiness.

Required profile

• University degree in Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in aircraft systems, with proven expertise in equipment and systems definition, validation, verification and qualification.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• International experience or previous customer‑service exposure is a plus.
