Aircraft Maintenance Technician – Electrical Assembly (EF2000)

About the role

An opportunity for an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Electrical Assembly) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Eurofighter EF2000 Production & Flight Line Team, participating in electrical integration, functional testing, and flight readiness of military aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical assembly, integration, harness routing and system modifications (soldering, crimping) following technical instructions and job cards.
• Conduct functional testing of avionics and mechanical systems on the Final Assembly Line and during operational testing on the Flight Line.
• Support Flight Line activities, including aircraft reception, engine ground runs, pre‑flight launch preparations and operational testing.
• Detect, troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents during integration and testing phases.
• Carry out basic electrical testing (continuity, bonding) and first‑level quality inspections to ensure assembly readiness.

Required profile

• Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT/TMA) qualification or a related aeronautical maintenance degree.
• Practical experience in aircraft electrical assembly, functional testing or flight‑line operations.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Electrical assembly and harness routing.
• Soldering and crimping techniques.
• Functional testing of avionics and mechanical systems.
• Basic electrical testing (continuity, bonding).
• Interpretation of technical production documentation.
