Airworthiness Engineer – Eurofighter Team

About the role

An opportunity for an Airworthiness Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe, joining the Eurofighter Airworthiness Team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct the certification approvals of Airbus products and product changes with Primary Authority, and validate these approvals with importing countries' authorities.
• Act as the interface to airworthiness authorities for all aspects of certification activities.
• Perform certification approvals in accordance with Airbus Design Organization Approval (DOA) privileges.
• Support acceptance of individual aircraft by customers and their local authorities.
• Define and defend Airbus position within Stand.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace a plus).
• 2‑3 years of experience in engineering and airworthiness related matters.
• Experience dealing with airworthiness authorities and/or customers.
• Technical experience in Powerplant, Communication Systems/Avionics, Airframe‑Structure, or General Systems (electrical, ECS, etc.).
• Advanced level of English and Spanish with oral fluency.
