Android Developer

About the role

We are a young technology company headquartered in Singapore with offices in Barcelona and Dubai, building innovative, customer‑inspired products. As an Android Developer you will join a high‑end fintech team to develop mobile solutions for our devices.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on a wide variety of projects to advance the technical roadmap.
• Apply agile methodologies to translate business initiatives into shippable Android products.
• Share knowledge and research to drive the engineering team’s technical evolution.
• Focus on developing mobile applications for our solutions and devices.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing and shipping Android applications.
• Strong analytical, communication and proactive attitude.
• Solid computer science fundamentals, OOP, and Java/Kotlin expertise.
• Ability to translate complex UX designs into functional UI and thrive in an Agile environment.

Required skills

• Android SDK, Android Studio and Gradle build system.
• Java and Kotlin programming.
• Android app architecture, design patterns, and REST/JSON integration.
• Popular libraries such as Dagger, RxJava, Retrofit, OkHttp, Picasso, Gson.
• Version control with Git.
• Automated testing tools: Espresso, JUnit, Robolectric, UIAutomator.
