Applications, Data and AI Sales Expert

About the role

Kyndryl Spain, one of the largest IT services providers worldwide, is looking for an Applications, Data and AI Sales Expert. The role suits sellers with a proven track record in complex IT services and solutions, using a consultative approach. The sales teams target the largest companies in Spain and Portugal.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and identify new opportunities around the Apps, Data and AI portfolio, such as application modernization and migration, data platform modernization and migration, data governance and GenAI.
• Lead sales opportunities end-to-end, from identification to closure, managing customer engagement and leading internal teams (Architecting, Delivery, Marketing).
• Build strong relationships with key partners (vendors, hyperscalers, OEMs).
• Keep up to date on market trends, solutions, technologies, regulation, competition and use cases.
• Build relationships with customer key stakeholders (CIO, CDO, CTO, business leaders).
• Achieve or exceed signing sales targets, including revenue generation and profitable growth.
• Support delivery teams to facilitate project success.

Required profile

• More than 5 years of experience in technical sales and client engagement in Apps, Data and AI solutions.
• Degree in IT or Telecom; a master's or further specialization in AI, Data or related technologies is strongly valued.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Experience building and commercializing relationships with senior executives in large Spanish accounts.
• Effective financial acumen, with experience driving revenue growth and managing margins.
• Sound personal brand and presence in the industry, and demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hyperscaler platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI) and solutions such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery and Synapse.
• Experience selling SAP-related projects, especially RISE, is highly appreciated.
• Certifications on portfolio technologies are positively valued.
